The Student Council would like to raise awareness and funds for the Saudi Cancer Society. http://www.saudicancer.org/
From October 12th the Student Council will be selling paper lantern bags so that students can decorate them in honour of someone who has or is fighting cancer or in memory of someone who has passed away from the disease.
The students take the bags home and return them by the 20th October when the Student Council will prepare them with sand and a candle for the day of the Volley Ball tournament on the 23rd, where the lanterns will be placed to light a path from between the two school gyms.
Photos will be taken so the students will be able to see their lantern glow in the evening. Please support this worthy cause by allowing your child to buy a paper bag lantern.

Activities are carefully planned to provide stimulating experiences in all seven areas of the curriculum with a careful mix of adult led and child initiated session. From scratch to public performance in under 24 hours is a tremendous challenge. Yesterday evening our students performed their work in front of an audience of parents. They did an amazing job. Today is their second performance, this time to the school. We’ll post more photos after the event!
Our Key Stage 4 students are running a football club for Year 7 and 8 boys. These photographs are from their first day. We are lucky to have some very talented players in Years 10 and 11 that want to get involved with coaching younger students.
